Beth Specht, APSW, PMH-C

Clinical Therapist
She/Her/Hers
I primarily work with clients ages 12 and up who struggle with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment, grief, relationship issues, parenting concerns, self-esteem and life transitions.
My practice style is person-centered, and I believe the client is the expert in their own life. I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy techniques to guide my practice.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh and a Master of Social Work with an emphasis on Mental Health from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay.
I have experience working with both adults and children in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient psychiatric hospital, outpatient mental health clinic, Neonatal Intensive Care unit, and outpatient pediatric medical clinic.
I have a special interest in perinatal mood disorders, and greatly enjoy walking alongside mothers as they transition through the many stages of motherhood. I also enjoy helping families navigate chronic medical diagnoses, specifically Type I diabetes in the pediatric population.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and listening to podcasts.
