Ka Xiong, APSW

Clinical Therapist
She/Her/Hers
Hello! I identify as a Hmong woman and am bilingual. I provide therapy in both English and Hmong. I earned my master’s degree with a dual emphasis in both clinical and school social work and am certified as an Advanced Practice Social Worker in Wisconsin. I primarily work with new and expectant parents experiencing life transitions, adjustments, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. In therapy, I incorporate a nonjudgmental, genuine approach and meet my clients where they are at. I strongly believe that clients are the experts of their lives, and I use that to learn from them to provide the utmost effective services to each individual to promote health and wellness. My professional experiences consist of working with survivors of domestic violence and middle school-aged youth. I am also a licensed school Social Worker.
In my free time, I like to read mystery novels, listen to podcasts, singing karaoke with my daughters, and xaws paj ntaub (Hmong cross stitching).
